Most of the answer is: nothing leaves your browser. Where that is not true, this page says so plainly, names who else is involved, and tells you how long anything is kept.
Everything you type into the builder, and the photo if you add one, is stored by your own browser on your own device. It is never sent to us. That is why there is no account and no password, and it is also why we cannot recover your CV for you: clearing your browser data deletes it, and nobody here has a copy.
Three things, and only these. A CV you choose to share by link, which we store so the link can open it. The email address you give to unlock a cover letter, which we keep as a contact record. And counters that stop abuse, which hold your IP address and a one-way hash of your email rather than the email itself.
Creating a share link sends us the CV as the chosen format displays it, so anything the format hides is dropped before it leaves your browser. In the General, Europe and Gulf formats the photo is displayed, so the photo is included. The link is unguessable but not password protected, so treat it like any link: anyone you send it to can open it, and so can anyone they forward it to. You can revoke a link at any time, and it expires on its own after 90 days.
Generating or tailoring a cover letter sends a condensed version of your profile to our AI provider: roles, education, skills and the job text you pasted. It never includes your contact details and never includes your photo. That boundary is enforced in code, not by habit.
Vercel hosts the site. Upstash stores share links and the abuse counters. OpenAI generates the letters. Google provides our analytics and the anti-bot check on the download form. Contact records go to our own client system at app.fennec360.com. All of these except our own system operate outside Algeria, which means your data crosses a border when it reaches them.
Your CV, for as long as you keep it in your browser. A share link, 90 days, or until you revoke it. Abuse counters, days at most. A contact record, 120 days, unless you become a client and your file's own retention takes over. You can always ask us to delete it sooner.
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, and tell us to stop using your address for anything promotional. Marketing is opt-in: unlocking a download does not sign you up for anything, and you can withdraw at any time.
One message is enough. Tell us what you want to know, corrected or deleted.
